3 Immunity-Boosting Juices to Experiment at Home

Keep your immune system active with a healthy dos of vitamins and minerals. The following recipes are packed with essential nutrients for a refreshing boost to your body's natural defense.

Apple, Carrot & Orange

Ingredients:

  • 2 large carrots, top trimmed
  • 1 medium Granny Smith apples, cut into quarters
  • 1 Naval orange, quartered & peeled

Steps:

Place all of the fruits into the juice.

Spinach, Lettuce & Kale

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium stalks celery
  • 4 romaine heart leaves
  • 2 kale leaves
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 medium green apple
  • 1/2 medium cucumber
  • 1/2 lemon rind
  • 1 slice ginger

Steps:

Place all of the fruits into the juice.

Strawberry & Mango

Ingredients:

  • 1 mango, peeled, pitted and chopped
  • 10 strawberries, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup oranges juice
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • sparkling water, if you're combining layers
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint, to garnish

Steps:

  1. In a blender, puree strawberries, lime juice and ice cubes until smooth and divide among glasses.
  2. If planning on combining layers, pour in a dash of sparkling water.
  3. Rinse blender then puree the mango, orange juice, lime juice, honey and ice cubes until smooth and gently pour into a glass while trying to maintain a line separating.
